ABOUT

Zoë trained as an actor at RADA before becoming a freelance director. She was shortlisted for 2024 JMK Award and has been a Jerwood Assistant Director at the Young Vic. During her time there she worked on Hamlet (Associate Director) and The Collaboration (Director on Placement).

 

Her credits include the newly commissioned play from Marina Carr: DEMETER, Angels in America (Tony Kushner), The Book of Dust: La Belle Sauvage (Phillip Pulman, Bryony Lavery) Indecent (Paula Vogel) and Take Care (Sam McLaughlin, Zoë Templeman-Young).

She is also a dramaturg, playwright and verbatim specialist. She holds the roles of Artistic Director of Écoute Theatre, visiting director at RWCMD and associate director at RADA. 

Zoë tutors and mentors young adults wanting to get into acting, and is a mentor at Tunbridge Wells Welcomes Refugees.
